A housing corporation in Curaçao has plans to develop the nature area of Wechi. Through rivers in this area the heavy rains find their way to the sea.
While doing a community-arts project Atelier Habitat noticed that children of the neighbouring area had a great interest in Wechi. After it was bulldozed Wechi got accessible for the children to play.
Together with a local ecologist and architect the children made a masterplan. This was presented to the director of the housing corporation, architects and landscapers, the press and other superheroes. The ideas of the children were found of such high quality that their input will not be denied in the final plans.
